Celebrate the Season in Boerne with Holiday Festivities and Cheer

The charming hill country town of Boerne, Texas has something for everyone this year as they will be hosting an array of cheerful holiday events coming up. Each year, Boerne goes all out to bring together the community and visitors alike to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. Thanksgiving weekend kicked off the fun when Boerne's Hill Country Mile is transformed into a winter wonderland for Dickens on Main. The holiday spirit continues each following weekend leading up to Christmas and New Years Eve.

Weihnacht's Weekend - Dec. 5-7

The spirit of the season thrives with the Weihnacht's Weekend on the first weekend in December. Friday night head downtown to the Wassail Walk and Caroling Contest. Visitors will enjoy favorite warm winter drinks from participating businesses and vote on their favorite Christmas Carolers.

The highlight of the weekend is always the Weihnacht Parade, featuring 100 floats lighting up Boerne's Hill Country Mile. The parade starts at 6:00pm on Dec. 6th. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and camp out or tour downtown Main Street’s numerous shops, restaurants, bakeries and breweries for their favorite treats and early gift shopping.

Kinder Fest Weekend - Dec. 12-14

Kinder Fest offers a weekend full of child-friendly fun. Lots of activities and fun for the whole family. Family favorites include the Santa Scavenger Hunt, an Ice Carving Show, Santa and Mrs. Claus Meet and Greet and the Cowboy Christmas Market.
